Coronavirus Outbreak Management
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak we have been instructed to reduce our face-to-face consultations.
Our main priority is to prevent elderly or vulnerable patients mixing with the unwell in our waiting room.
We apologise for the inconvenience.
For these reasons the appointment and consultation system will change in the following ways:
- All requests for consultations will be assessed by phone call initially.
- Many consultations will be conducted by phone call and some by videocall.
- Manage My Health self appointments can be made for telephone appointments only.
- All prescriptions will be sent by fax or email directly to the pharmacy of your choice, we will not allow pick-ups at St Luke’s Health Centre.

Some of Our Services:
There are usually four GPs working at St Luke’s Health Centre, and as a teaching practice we often also have Registrars and House Surgeons working alongside us. Our qualified Practice Nurses can also provide a variety of services to our patients that don’t require a GP, and patients can always bring a friend or family member or request a chaperone for any of their appointments and consultations if desired.

Crisis Pregnancy Support is one of the key services operating out of St Luke’s Health Centre. Providing support to women and their families who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy situation is at the heart of our practice mission and philosophy.
CPS offers you a free, confidential, non-judgmental service, with time to explore what options are available to you when in the challenging time of facing an unexpected or crisis pregnancy.

Natural Family Planning
As well as providing training for natural family planning, St Luke’s Health Centre is the home-base clinic for the WOOMB NZ National Office. WOOMB NZ provides training and support in the use of the Billings Ovulation Method™ throughout New Zealand.
